My name is Doug Hunt. My family lives in northwest Georgia where I serve on the staff of Rock Bridge Community Church. I have worked in vocational ministry for over 25 years. I’ve served on college campuses, in major cities, started churches, served a worship leader, and worked on staff of a couple of large churches. Regardless of the place or position, my core purpose has been the same; Follow the example of Jesus in the way that He personally made disciples.

This site, Abiding in Jesus, is a simple platform born out of a desire to encourage and challenge more people in their journey to be a disciple of Jesus and to make disciples of Jesus. Jesus tells us in John 15 that life is meant to be lived connected and dependent on Him, making our home in Him and living out HIs love to those around us.

My prayer is that God will use what is written here to help you see and live out the goodness of abiding in Jesus.
